To be invested as a Beaver Scout you will need to:
1. Know and understand the Beaver Scout Promise, the Motto and the Scout Sign and talk about them with a Leader.
2. Know the Badges you will receive at your Investiture and know how to wear your scarf.
3.Take part in a Colony opening and/or closing ceremony and know what to do at your Investiture.
4.Know the Leader's names in the Colony.
5.Find out about the beaver animal and its life in a real beaver colony.

i. Know and understand the Cub Scout Promise and Law and the rules in your Pack.
ii. Know and understand the Cub Scout Motto, Sign, Salute and Handshake.
iii. Know what to do at your Investiture.
iv. Know the meaning of the badges you will receive.
v. Know the history of the family of Scouts and worldwide Scouting.

When a young person joins the Troop, regardless of whether he or she was a Cub Scout, the following requirements will need to be completed to gain this Award:

know about the Troop

get to know other Members and Leaders in the Patrol and Troop

find out about the ceremonies and traditions in the Troop

find out about the activities that the Patrol and Troop does

know and understand the Scout Promise and Law and the rules of the Troop

know and understand the Scout Motto, Sign, Salute and Handshake

show a general knowledge of the history and family of Scouts and Scouting around the world

know what to do at Investiture.

Explorers: aged 14 to 18. we do not currently have our own Explorer Unit but there are a couple in the District so any Scout from our section can attend those.
